An original game designed and handmade by Derevo in Saskatoon, Dice Curling brings guards, takeouts and last-stone tension to your kitchen table. Roll two dice, choose how to use them, and make your next shot count.
2 players or two teams of 2 · 20–30 minutes · Ages 8+
Roll the dice. Call the shot.
Choose one die for weight and the other for line. That choice determines how far your stone travels and which lane it takes. Set a guard, draw toward the button, push a stone deeper or go for a takeout. Doubles let you curl around a guard, and one sweep per end can turn a short shot into a better one.
After all sixteen stones are played, the team closest to the centre scores. Play four ends for a standard game, or settle in for six or eight. Save your best plan for the hammer: the last stone of the end.
